Forgebase is a subscription software service operated by Simon Pene, a sole trader based in New South Wales, Australia, trading as Forgebase. This policy explains how to cancel a paid plan, when refunds apply, and how to raise a billing dispute.
You can cancel a paid plan at any time, with no cancellation fee:
Cancellation stops future renewals. Your paid features stay active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, after which they end and you will not be charged again. Your data is kept in line with our Privacy Policy, and you can request an export before closing your account.
Because you keep full access until the end of the period you have paid for, subscription fees are not refunded for partial billing periods, unused time, or unused crew seats. This applies to both monthly and annual plans.
We will refund in full where:
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days.
You can move to a lower plan at any time. The change takes effect at the start of your next billing period, and no refund or credit is issued for the current period. Upgrades take effect immediately, and the difference is charged on a pro-rata basis.
If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us at hello@forgebase.com.au within 30 days of the charge, with your organisation name and the date and amount. We will respond within 2 business days and aim to resolve it within 10 business days.
We ask that you contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank, as most issues can be fixed faster directly. If a chargeback is raised, we will provide the relevant records to the card issuer, and paid features may be paused while it is resolved.
The Welcome plan is free and involves no payment. The annual billing discount applies only when an annual plan is paid upfront, and is not combined with other offers unless we say so in writing. Any other promotion will state its own terms where it is offered.
